From first bubbles to first strokes, our preschool program meets your child exactly where they’re at. With small class sizes and ability-based grouping, we ensure safe hands-on attention, personalised progression and a smooth pathway into school-age swimming.

Starfish

In this level, swimmers build confidence in and around the water. They learn to enter and exit the pool safely, move comfortably around the pool, blow bubbles, independently submerge and float with support on both their front and back.

Shrimps

In this level, swimmers continue building confidence in the water. They are working an independent front float, a strong body position float on their front and an independent back float. Swimmers are also introduced to the foundations of a basic kick.

Otters

In this level, swimmers begin linking their skills together with greater confidence. They learn to streamline and push off the wall, develop a strong kick on both front and back. Swimmers also work on turning from front to back and completing six freestyle arm cycles with confidence.

Penguins

In this level, swimmers are introduced to side kicking and the foundations of breathing technique through focused drills. They swim 5 metres with a board stroking to breathe, 5 metres freestyle with breathing and 5 metres backstroke.

Sharks

In this level, swimmers consolidate their breathing skills and begin building greater distance and stamina. They swim 15 metres freestyle and 15 metres backstroke with confidence. Swimmers are also introduced to the foundations of breaststroke and butterfly kick.

General Notes

  • Maximum of 3 swimmers per class to ensure plenty of individual attention in every 30 minute lesson

  • Term and holiday block courses available to keep progress consistent year round

    All lessons are held in a warm, comfortable teaching pool

    All instructors are fully qualified and experienced in working with young swimmers

    Sticker charts are given at the start of each programme, with stickers awarded as skills are achieved to
